Co-President - HMI
As Co-President of Home Meridian International, Lee Boone directs the original operating divisions of HMI that serve traditional retail channels: Samuel Lawrence Furniture, Pulaski Furniture and Prime Resources International. Additionally, Mr. Boone will oversee HMI’s marketing and sales. Mr. Boone joined HMI in 2012 as President of SLF. He was instrumental in the creation of SLF’s industry leading Room Gear youth program. Prior to joining HMI, he held the position of President of Legacy Classic Furniture and led the creation of the Legacy Kids divisions. Earlier, Mr. Boone worked with Lea Industries and Universal Furniture. He began his career in the U.S. Army and is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

CEO - SLH
As Co-President of Home Meridian International, Doug Townsend directs HMI’s operating divisions focusing on emerging channels of distribution including e-commerce, warehouse clubs and hospitality. This includes Accentrics Home and SLH divisions of HMI. Additionally Mr. Townsend directs corporate operations domestically and in the Far East. Previous positions included Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Townsend’s tenure with the company began with SLF and he has been instrumental in the corporate milestones, including the formation of HMI in 2006 and Hooker Furniture Corporation’s acquisition of HMI in 2016. He began his career with Berkley International Capital and Shawmut National Bank and is a graduate of Harvard University with post-graduate work at U.C.L.A.

Rick Evans joined Samuel Lawrence Hospitality in November 2012. Prior to joining SLH, Mr. Evans held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing with hospitality-focused American of Martinsville and Fleetwood Furniture. Evans also held executive and other positions with Sealy Bedding, Walters Wicker and Dometic Minibar. Mr. Evans is a graduate of Bethel College.
President - HMIdea
Jay Jordan joined Home Meridian in 2019 to lead our newest division, HMIdea. As president of HMIdea, Jay is solely dedicated to the mass retail channel. In addition to driving sales efforts, he is responsible for designing, developing and merchandising the line. Previously, Jay held senior leadership roles at Dorel and Homestar. Prior to that, he has help leadership roles at Sauder Woodworking, Masco, and Whirlpool. Jay is a graduate of Bradley University.
President - SLF
Scott Smith joined SLF in 2018 and serves as President of Samuel Lawrence Furniture. In this role, Mr. Smith directs all sales and product development. Prior to joining SLF, Mr. Smith served as Executive VP of Vanguard Furniture, President/CEO of Caracole as well as positions with Legacy Classic and Klaussner Furniture. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University.
President - Accentrics Home
As President of Accentrics Home, Kevin Walker leads the e-commerce initiatives of HMI. Mr. Walker joined HMI in 2010 as President of Creations Baby. Additional experience includes Vice President of Sales & Product Development at Stanley Furniture’s Young America brand and President at PALI North America. He also held positions as President of Walker Sales, Sales Executive at Mike Augustine, Vice President of Sales at Simmon’s Delta Children's brand as well as Bilt-Rite Furniture where he began his career. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University.
President - Pulaski Furniture
Page Wilson became President of Pulaski Furniture in 2009. Mr. Wilson began his career with Pulaski in 1989, and has held a variety of executive and management positions including positions with Pulaski’s Craftique and Accentrics divisions. His management tenure includes sales and marketing, operations, logistics and customer service. He is a graduate of Radford University.
Senior Vice President: US Operations - HMI
Rebecca Colyn began her career with the company in 1990 in Arizona performing a variety of administrative support roles transitioning into a sales support position with the creation of Samuel Lawrence Furniture. Ms. Colyn became Vice President of Sales Operations in 2009, responsible for all Home Meridian International US sales operations activities, including forecasting, planning, account management, customer service, and master data. As Senior Vice President of US Operations, Ms. Colyn has additional responsibilites including warehousing, logisitcs, and e-commerce operations.
Senior Vice President: Far East Operations - HMI
As Senior Vice President of Home Meridian International, Mr. Gusler is responsible for all Home Meridian International case goods and upholstery activities internationally, including new product development, sourcing, production and quality. David has lived in Asia, and worked closely with our Asian employees and partners. He has served as Vice President of New Product Development and Sourcing for HMI and Vice President of Asian Operations for Pulaski Furniture Company.
Vice President: Marketing - HMI
Mary-Price Furr joined Home Meridian International in 2011. Prior to joining HMI, Ms. Furr worked with American Signature as Vice President of Brand Marketing, Business Development, and Licensing as well as Fine Furniture Design & Marketing as Vice President of Marketing. Earlier, Ms. Furr was Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President with BrandMind Marketing and R.L. Reid & Company, marketing and public relations agencies. She is a graduate of Marshall University.
